What is Soul Collage? Soul Collage is a creative way to use collage as a self discovery tool or a way to re-center your thougts or re-focus on you and what's most important to you. Using simple materials like magazine images, glue and scissors, this Soul Collage workshop will be a fun and intuitive collage experience.
You'll make a few new friends in this relaxing afternoon of creativity.
You'll enjoy an assortment of beverages and snacks, because we want to feed body and soul!
You'll leave with at least four 5X7" soul collage cards made by you, and a method for creating more at home.

Learn to create a beautiful beaded butterfly or bug from shiny glass beads. Crafter extraordinaire Heather Campbell will show you how to arrange and adhere your beads and you'll leave with a finished bug you can display in a case (think butterfly collections) or wear it as a pin or patch. This one is so fun, you'll want to make a whole collection.
Enjoy some refreshments as you learn and create
You'll leave with one beaded butterfly or bug and materials to continue to finish it if you would like to take more time.
You'll gain a new passion for bedazzling beautiful things
You might leave with a new friend or two!
No skills needed, if you don't like hand sewing you're welcome to glue beads on!

Join us for this fun and creative workshop where you'll dive into the art and history of Kinusaiga - scrap painting, fabric collage or stab painting. We'll use fabric to create beautiful floral paintings. No experience needed—just bring your love for making stuff and flowers!

Join Emma for a fun, hands-on workshop where you’ll felt fluffy wool into colorful landscape paintings, layering texture and color to create a whimsical scene full of charm. Emma is an accomplished felting artist who makes and sells her work at festivals, for commissions, and online.
In this workhsop you'll:
Create your own woolly masterpiece as you felt rolling hills, glowing skies, and dreamy scenery with a playful, hands-on approach.
You'll learn tips for layering wool like paint to build a whimsical landscape full of color and texture.
You'll enjoy refreshments at your leisure and still have time to finish your project.
A helpful handout so that you can make more creations at home.

Learn to make a felted cat portrait patch! Join Buffalo Makers Hub and learn to needle felt a portrait of an orange cat on 1mm pressed wool felt. You can learn the basics of felted painting and use your knowledge to create a portrait of your own pet on December 13th in a follow up workshop (same location).
Patches will be wearable or for display, and can be washed on a gentle cold setting, or by hand. Needle felting is a technique that uses barbed needles to tangle and compress sheep’s wool together to create sculptures and flatwork.
Emma DuBois started needle felting at the age of 11 when she received a kit for Christmas. She grew up in WNY then attended the national theatre school in Montreal for two years. There she honed her design skills and perfected her French speaking. Emma often travels to connect with other artists and vend at art markets. She also teaches classes, creates custom art pieces, and makes content for social media.
